Overseas Buyer Scheme

Invitation:

2018  Tainan Biotechnology & Green Energy Expo (TBGTE) exhibition welcomes overseas buyers from all around the world to improve international trade and cooperation. The buyers will be arranged by The DIGITAL COMMERCIAL TIMES INC. during the show in Tainan, Taiwan,  OCT 5 ~ OCT 8, 2018. The expenses of flight ticket or/and accommodation will be subsidized by the organizer. This program is to give overseas buyers who are interested to purchase products or develop business partnership with Taiwan domestic companies.

Qualification:The buyer must meet one of the following requirements:

1. The Board Director of overseas public association or editor or journalist

1. The Board Director of overseas public association with impacting power of related industry.

Flight ticket and designated hotel

Flight ticket:

1. One return economy flight ticket.
2. The subsidies recipient has to attend at least 2 days of TBGEE show.

Hotel:

1. The buyer is subsidized a maximum of TWD 15,000 for designated hotel fee at most 4 nights(Sep 21~24) and airport shuttle service provided by the same hotel.

2. Small, medium & micro-size enterprises  (Ⅰ)

1. The buyer’s company must achieve minimum revenue of USD 5,000,000 in developed country.

2. The buyer’s company must achieve minimum revenue of USD 1,000,000 in emerging market country.

※ Above within at least one of the last three years. The classification recognition of developed country or emerging market country, please see Note below.

Flight ticket

3. Small, medium & micro-size enterprises  (Ⅱ)

1. The buyer’s company must achieve minimum revenue of USD 300,000 in developed country.

2. The buyer’s company must achieve minimum revenue of USD 100,000 in emerging market country.

※ Above within at least one of the last three years. The classification recognition of developed country or emerging market country, please see Note below.

The quota depends on the rest subsidies.

Hotel

Note: 

  1. A developed country is defined as one of the following 25 OECD member states: Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Australia, Chile, Croatian, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany,
    Greece, USA, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Monaco, Luxembourg,
    Hong Kong, Macao, Australia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Kada, Saudi Arabia,
    Singapore, Slovakia, Republic of Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, UK and Uruguay.
  2. All other countries are considered emerging markets country.

Application steps:

Step 1: Overseas buyers submit application form before Aug 21, 2018.
Step 2: Buyer’s qualification examined by organizer. (Each company only can be subsidized one person.)
Step 3:“Approval Notice” email to the qualified buyers.
Step 4: Flight ticket/Hotel confirmation
Step 5:“TBGEE Show Notice” to the invited buyers
Step 6: 2018 Tainan Biotechnology & Green Energy Expo (TBGEE) Show on OCT 5 ~ OCT 8, 2018
Step 7: Documents to the organizer.

※Organizer has the right to revise the total subsidies amount according to the budget. The maximum amount of subsidies for each buyer may be adjusted due to budget conditions.
