Subsidies for Overseas Buyers Visiting Taiwan

The exhibition offers subsidies for overseas buyers visiting Taiwan. Exhibitors interested in inviting their overseas buyers or potential clients to visit the exhibition in Taiwan can refer to the subsidy details below and apply with the required documents. Eligible applicants may receive reimbursement for actual flight costs, up to a maximum of NT$20,000 in subsidy funds. Please note that spaces are limited, and we encourage you to apply promptly.

Application deadline April 26.

  • Airfare is reimbursable based on actual expenses; accommodation subsidies are capped as detailed in the eligibility criteria.
  • Accommodation must be for the period from one night before the exhibition opens to the night of the exhibition’s conclusion, with a subsidy for up to four nights.
  • Applicants from developed countries with a company turnover of over $300,000 in any one of the past three years, or from emerging market countries with a turnover of over $100,000 in any one year within the last three years, are eligible. Each foreign company is eligible for subsidy for only one representative, and applications can be made for either airfare or accommodation, not both.
  • Any costs arising from last-minute changes to room types, other expenses not covered by the subsidy, or cancellations after booking, are to be borne by the buyer.
  • “Developed countries” refer to the high-income countries listed by the World Bank: Australia, Austria, Belgium, The Bahamas, Barbados, Bahrain, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, among others.
  • “Emerging markets” refer to countries not listed as “Developed countries” above.

  • Include proof of your company’s annual turnover in USD.

Email content should include:

  • Company Information: Name, business activities, address (city and country), telephone number (including country code), fax, website URL.
  • Buyer Information: Country, full name (must match the name on the passport), gender, job title, email.
  • Intended Visit Period: (year/month/date).

4. Documentation for Reimbursement

For Accommodation Expenses:

  1. Copy of passport.
  2. Copy of business card (If the name on the passport differs from that on the business card, notify hotel staff upon check-in for notation).
  3. Copy of visitor/work badge.
  4. Questionnaire form.
  5. Original signed detailed bill from the hotel (including airport shuttle dispatch note).

For Airfare:

  1. Approval documents.
  2. Copy of business card (If the name on the passport differs from that on the business card, it should be noted on the reimbursement documents).
  3. Copy of visitor/work badge.
  4. Exhibition Questionnaire.
  5. Original boarding pass stub or a printout of an electronic ticket.
  6. Boarding pass stub signed by the foreign business individual or a printout of an electronic boarding pass or an airline-issued boarding certificate.
  7. Proof of international flight ticket purchase or a receipt of payment forwarded by a travel agency.
  8. Original high-speed rail ticket stub or electronic ticket proof.
